Intolerance, Censorship Again from the Liberal Left
Protest Warrior was hacked today by extremists who also promise to disrupt the RNC web presence during the Republican National Convention this coming month.
For those not yet familiar with Protest Warrior, it is a group of ordinary Americans who civilly stand up to and protest the extremist protestors of the left, with witty humor infused with the ever-dreadful logic of truth. Fun and good humor is usually not far from Protest Warrior, even in the face of seething hatred and violent acts against it.
Not surprisingly to many who know history, the left proves to be in favor of censoring the view points bound in truth intellectually incontestable. As has been shown to us in recent memory from John Kerry’s campaign lawyers, who set out to intimidate the publishers of the best-seller “Unfit for Command”, or to intimidate local television stations from playing the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ads. They still refuse to sue the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth organization out of what appears to be nothing but pure fear of the facts, which might be revealed in such a trial, along with a judgement in favor of Swift Boats. But we can also see this drumbeat for censorship today in the broader context of the global politic in communist
Likewise, today of course is not the first attempt by anti-American leftist activists to silence organizations like Protest Warrior. In point of fact, such assaults occur every time Protest Warrior is out on the streets defending the ideals of everyday Americans against the America-haters whom you see in the photo below.
Those same anti-American leftwing protestors, supposedly protesting for “peace” and for the first amendment just can’t seem to keep their hands off those who oppose them. They routinely seek to violently silence the free expression of others. In the end, they always turn violent against citizen groups like Protest Warrior, cursing at, spitting on, vandalizing the signs of and even brutally assaulting its members. It is it would seem, just part of their character. After all, that is just what these “peace” activists regularly do to police officers, innocent bystanders and shop owners trying to feed their families, as well as the property belonging to people with no political affiliation at all. In short, the anti-war, anti-American crowd is just a bunch of jerks. A crowd whose actions represent the true nazi “brown-shirts” of today, who push for a very similar worldview of militant socialism. One wonders if that is why Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation supports them. One shouldn’t be tempted to buy the line these are simple anarchists after all, because they aren’t. As the anti-American radicals fill the streets of New York and throw marbles under the feet of innocent police horses and risk millions of innocent lives by preventing law enforcement from securing the city from terrorists, true Americans can be there too, distracting the distracters.
Below is an example of a typical act of leftwing censorship, as undertaken against Protest Warrior, boldface added by me for emphasis, (parenthetical italics note some worthwhile comments of mine about the apparent intelligence of the author). Note as well how the message invites others to censor the websites of groups they oppose while both providing links to hacking tools and disavowing any direct involvement (unfortunately, assisting in a federal crime makes you an accessory).
Naturally, Blogbat does not in any way endorse hacking to suppress the free expression of those one disagrees with. If one fails to possess sufficient intellect to argue a matter on its merits, it would be better to those concerned if he recuse himself from the debate. We demand an end to the so-called “war on terrorism”, which is nothing more than a pretext for empire and the erosion of our civil rights (All stand up for civil rights for terrorists!). As long as Amerikkka continues to further their war on the poor for the benefit of the rich, we will use all weapons at our disposal to disrupt the RNC – on the streets, and on the net. August 22nd – Day of online direct action a week before the convention begins. All are encouraged to attack as many right-wing, corporate, government or military sites as possible. Web defacements, email attacks, financial disruption, anything and everything. (So at the end of the day, these are nothing more than common criminals of the vandal variety. Certainly they began with the noble platitudes of “peace” and “democracy”, but just like any good communist, it was only air. Such draconian tactics are those used by dictators the world over). These attacks will be used to stir discussion of the RNC, encourage people to participate in the protests in NYC itself, and to build for the mainstream electronic sit-in on the 29th. (Sit-in’s are passive. Hacking and DDoS attacks are more like burning the campus building down, robbing the campus banks binding and gagging the faculty).
August 29 – September 2nd – Mainstream electronic sit-in while the RNC is in session. The actions will commence on noon of each day. The protests will utilize a wide diversity of tactics including email, web, fax and phone disruption. The logistical details of this campaign are included in this document below. Who are we flooding?
The email addresses, fax numbers, and phone numbers listed below are various contacts of the Republican National Committee and the official George W. Bush re-election staff. (But we didn’t do that to Kerry’s campaign, so forget what you read at the beginning of this diatribe about that whole protest thing against both Republicans AND Democrats- we only said that so we could hide behind it later).

A bitter act of desperation that solves no problems, makes no statement, and disempowers many. (Come again?) Who are we?
There is no ‘us’. This is a decentralized campaign – there are no leaders or orders or hierarchy. Most of us don’t know the other people working on this project. None of us know what sorts of attacks are being planned (Accept for the rioting, “shooting of pigs”, hacking, political, financial and social disruption we’ve already detailed here). This is an autonomous call out, anyone who agrees with what we’ve said and wants to participate in this campaign is welcome to resist the RNC in any way they can.
This call out is issued by the CrimethInc Black Hat Hacker’s Bloc. We are not participating in any of the actions or any illegal activities ourselves (though we might want to contact our lawyers because chances are, they might disagree). We recognize the political significance of the RNC (it’s called Democracy, learn it, love it, live it) and realize that one way or another there is going to be some sort of cyber attack (another one to ask the lawyers about). We are asking people to use all tools at their disposal to bombard the given servers with so much traffic that it will become unable to serve any more web requests. People can participate in the actions by using the given floodnet scripts on the campaign website or by launching your own distributed denial of service attacks.

You can help flood these servers by going to our website and running the FloodNet tools on our website. There is a web-based tool and several perl scripts that you can use to flood the targets. You can also download and run several denial of service applications on your home machine and point them to the above servers.

… but denial of service attacks isn’t hacking!
DoS attacks are seen as somewhat lame in the hacking community because it does not require any actual skills to perform such attacks – any script kiddie can simply download a few tools and launch attacks against major servers. It can hardly be considered hacking. But it is a method of electronic disruption that can bring the enemy’s servers to it’s knees. No reason to overlook tools at our disposal.
E-MAIL BOMBING

E-mail bomb attacks are done by sending tens of thousands of emails to the enemy’s contact addresses. This can make it painful to send and receive emails while simultaneously consuming server resources, possibly slowing or shutting it down. There are numerous tools that one can use to perform such attacks.

Fax bombing is a method of electronic disruption that clogs the enemy’s fax communications and wastes their paper and toner resources.
