House Speaker Dennis Hastert Says It’s Time to Put Troops on Border

Hastert told Fox News commentator Tony Snow during Snow’s afternoon radio broadcast today. Hastert has also recently come out in support of eliminating the IRS, another popular reform among most Americans. Both houses of Congress currently are working on legislation.

I am very much in favor of ridding America of as much bureaucracy as possible. The IRS is one of the biggest. They have created such complexity that none of us can even fill out our own tax forms…thereby having to pay billions as a nation every year to tax preparers. let end all that, create a simpler system, and collect just what we need and not a penny more.
