  “Look stimpy! eet's Poooooo!”  --Sunday Edition!

  
  

  
  

  Today was a fun, fun day. A few of my friends and I got together over at someone's house on the occasion of a birthday. It is a new family (literally, including three adult children) who recently just moved from Dallas and who are presently braving the rigors of an apartment while they endure the time-caustic mission of searching for a house. They did not however let this sway the fun of today's celebrating the birthday of one of their daughters who also moved up here. I enjoyed incredibly engaging conversations on theology, politics and soforth after being treated to a most fabulous meal prepared by another of the daughters. Time simply passed unnoticed and we reluctantly left sometime after midnight. Here this entire family lived, with no television or really any of the modern conveniences--everything is still waiting in storage. But the people there made the evening spectacular. It just serves to remind me of the fact that the people in your life are who make it rich and full of flavor. Not mindless entertainment and not "stuff".

  Okay, so sticking to my day job: here's some of what went down today

  
  

  1. Got a Starbuck's Frap

  
  

  2. Let the dog out. (yes, I did it, "woof, woof woof")

  
  

  3. Worked on my blogs
  4. Had Lunch

  
  

  6. Hooked up with friends

  
  

  7. Got home

  
  

  8. Killed a large fly that was chasing my dog (who is terrified of flies)

  
  

  9. Felt inspired to work on some of my music (not by the fly)

  
  

  10. Let the dog out. Again. (yes, I did it, "woof, woof woof")

  
  

  11. Pondered stuff
